Last night , I wrapped myself up tightly
in thoughts of you
and brought each precious memory
into reality.

I walked with you;
I talked with you;
I laughed with you;
I loved with you.

I wanted to reach out and touch you,
but I knew that if I tried to,
the spell would break
and you would vanish.
So i kept my eyes closed tightly
and let your memory hold me
all night long.

But i have to wait patiently
with love and care
